The Legend of Xiyue

Jiang Xijin, the eldest daughter of the Jiang family, and Prince Xuan were in love. But a drugging plot left them intimate, and soon afterward, Prince Xuan was ordered to the front lines. The Crown Prince seized the chance to threaten her with her family’s survival and force her into the Eastern Palace. There, she became a pawn at everyone’s mercy and eventually died with hatred in her heart.

The surviving “Jiang Xiyue” was actually Jiang Xijin, who had been switched with her. Burdened by guilt toward her younger sister and hatred for her enemies, she joined forces with the returning Prince Xuan, united by their shared desire for revenge. Together, they carefully navigated the treacherous court, not only settling old scores but also uncovering a shocking secret with far-reaching consequences for the realm.

When all was said and done, Prince Xuan finally realized that the “Jiang Xiyue” before him was the Jiang Xijin he had long yearned for. His suspicions were at last confirmed: the one who had died a horrific death in the Eastern Palace was Jiang Xiyue, her twin sister, who had willingly given her life in her place.

This profound love, in which one life was traded for another, stripped away Jiang Xijin’s last traces of weakness. Carrying both their names, she rose to the pinnacle of power with fierce brilliance, vowing to live a radiant life for her sister and herself. And Prince Xuan’s feelings, nurtured over many years, finally found their happy ending in his heartfelt admission: “Whether Xijin or Xiyue, it has always been you.”
