World: The city-state of "New Canaan" is ruled by the technology giant "Prometheus Industries". There is a huge gap between the rich and the poor, and the bottom class is struggling. The technology is highly developed (bionic humans, neural implants, holographic projections), but the spirit is empty, and the old religion has been replaced by the worship of technology.
Protagonist: Zero, an advanced android "Guardian" model, whose superficial mission is to maintain order/protect specific humans (such as the children of company executives), but in fact has secretly awakened self-awareness and has doubts about the system.
