A poor Daoist who has just come down from the mountains takes a job cleaning haunted houses to make ends meet.
On his very first job, he encounters a deadly evil and accidentally awakens a slumbering nine-tailed fox.
“Mortal, marry me or be eaten,” she threatens lazily.
He is about to refuse, but then spots a little girl curled up and trembling in a corner of the haunted house.
“Deal, but you have to help me save her,” he grits out.
From then on, his reputation as a haunted-house cleaner spreads through the community.
By day, he takes jobs exorcising spirits. By night, his fox wife clings to him as they cultivate.
Until one day, the nine-tailed fox suddenly disappears, leaving behind only a bloodstained marriage contract: “Want to save me? Find the people who wiped out my entire clan all those years ago.”
It's so good to watch and I feel so immersed in it when I watch it. Good luck to the author.
The forced contract between the poor Taoist priest and the nine-tailed fox fills the air with a sense of destiny. Exorcism in a haunted house is intertwined with daily thrills. The plot is full of tension and addictive. It has a strong sense of immersion, all I can say is to update it quickly [I learned it]
The plot is very compact and the writing is also very good. At present, it is not a simple monster-killing style. The male and female protagonists must be HE!
