From the Start, With a Sky Screen, I Teach Jiajing to Become an Emperor for the Ages

Sky-screen viewing + raising an emperor + decisive and ruthless + everyone gets down to business

The day I transmigrated into the Imperial Prison as a junior censor during the Jiajing era, the sky over the entire Great Ming exploded!

A magnificent sky screen appeared overhead, showing The Great Ming Dynasty 1566

Yan Song monopolizes power! Hai Rui berates the emperor! Northern raiders breach the pass! The Great Ming is doomed!

The entire court was in a panic. Jiajing angrily posted a royal proclamation: “Whoever can interpret the sky screen will receive ten thousand taels of gold and a marquisate with ten thousand households!”

Covered in blood, Lin Yan grinned wildly:

“I know the answers to this one!”

“Your Majesty, the sky screen is the strategy guide, and I’m the cheat code.”

He pointed to the heavens:

Yan Song’s wrinkled face → “That villain will drain your treasury dry!”

Hai Rui buying a coffin → “This man is a blade. Use him well to cut out the rot!”

The Qi family troops fighting a bloody battle → “Give me three years, and firearms will crush the Japanese pirates!”
