[Dual female leads, saving each other]
[Pet funeral director Xu Shi'an VS fallen heiress Shen Zhihan]
In a single night, Shen Zhihan loses everything. Her family abandons her, and the once-wealthy heiress becomes a destitute woman buried in debt.
On a rainy night, clutching her only source of comfort, her cat Nuomi, she searches everywhere for help. But she's turned away for lack of money. After the cat dies, she is utterly devastated and collapses outside a pet funeral home.
The owner, Xu Shi'an, was once a brilliant cardiac surgeon.
During one operation, she was forced to let her mother go with her own hands. She put down her scalpel and has been hiding on the edge between life and death ever since, running from herself.
One has been driven to the brink by life; the other is trapped in the past by guilt.
Two wounded souls meet at their most wretched moments.
She gives the cat a dignified farewell, and gives her a safe harbor where she can catch her breath.
She sees through her disguise, then uses her tenderness to light up her darkness.
A winter-bare branch meets the warm sun, and broken pieces become whole.
This time, they won't bear everything alone.
They will save each other and become each other's home.
