Aotu World: Diary of a Shadow Observer

[OOC + Some plot points have been changed]

I'm not very good at writing (ʘ̥∧ʘ̥). Nothing I can do about it.

“The sweet-and-sour taste of candied orange and lemon, the chill of a shadow dagger, and all the bizarre spectacles and embarrassing antics of the entire AOTU Arena: these are my observation gear and my bastion of survival.”

Bai Si, an amnesiac who abruptly awoke in the AOTU Tournament, has only one place to turn: a cold, compulsory command in his mind: “Resurrection.”

He always wears a warm, harmless smile, as if filled with pure curiosity about everything. Yet he prefers to hide in the shadows, using his terminal to record every humiliating moment his opponents suffer, while trying to complete his periodic table in this chaotic place.

Forced to become a puppet manipulated from behind the scenes, he walks a knife's edge: striking dangerous information deals with the Star-Moon Witch, Ka Li; playing the role of a variable who is both ally and enemy in the web of lies spun by the master liar, Pa Luo Si; and once serving as an apparently harmless temporary teammate on Jin's team. The fury of thunder, the devouring darkness, the vortex of lies... all are “specimens” he must face.

As the bloody echoes of past tournaments and the whispers of the dead gradually pierce through time, and the terrifying truth behind “Resurrection” as an energy interface comes to light, Bai Si realizes that he is not merely a pawn. He is at the very center of a vast experiment.
