Traditional cultivation fantasy, with a slower pace!
[A Record of a Mortal's Journey to Immortality] [System]
By a twist of fate, Lin Feng, a young man from the twenty-first century, transmigrates into the body of a sixteen-year-old mine slave in the cultivation world who shares his name.
Just as he is struggling to make sense of his situation, a cold System notification suddenly rings out in his mind…
[Ding! Daily Intel System binding in progress…]
[Ding! Today’s Intel 1: Overseer Wang Tu tried to break through to the fourth Qi Refining level after overtraining in Blazing Yang Art last night. This caused an old back injury from three years ago to flare up badly. He is now at only the early third level of Qi Refining, and any full-force burst of power will aggravate the injury, causing pain that cuts to the bone.]
[Ding! Today’s Intel 2: At the bottom of the mine, at the end of the seventh branch tunnel to the southeast, frequent recent mining has loosened the rock and created a hidden fissure. Follow it for thirty zhang to reach an underground river. On the finger bone of an ancient cultivator’s remains, washed out by the current at the river’s edge, is a low-grade storage ring that cannot be broken by brute force. Inside are a fragment of the Qi Refining chapter of the Nine Revolutions Arcane Art and three low-grade spirit stones.]
…
When Lin Feng came to his senses after hearing the System’s notification, he was overjoyed!
With the System’s help, watch as Lin Feng rises from a lowly mortal mine slave, steps into the boundless cultivation world, and becomes an invincible powerhouse in the immortal realm!
[This synopsis doesn’t do the story justice. Please take a look at the main text.]
The escape scene at the beginning really amazed me. The protagonist's witty game during the escape and the fact that he endured severe pain and kept moving forward were really touching. The writing was very real and very immersive. Now I want to see the protagonist's revenge against the Qingyang Sect. After all, the protagonist's capture of the protagonist as a mine slave cannot be easily exposed by the protagonist. I think it will be exciting to write it by then.
