Dr. Shen's Redemption Journal

[A healing romance between a gentle doctor and a girl plagued by low self-esteem]

Su Wan's life began with the mission of saving her older brother, but he resented her and abandoned her when they were children, leaving her to be trafficked and abused. After struggling through a difficult childhood, she gets into medical school despite having congenital heart disease and depression, but leaves a living will refusing resuscitation.

There, she meets Shen Yan, a cardiologist. Gentle yet resolute, Shen Yan slowly draws closer, trying to illuminate Su Wan's dark world with his professionalism and kindness. But her deeply rooted low self-esteem makes Su Wan push him away again and again. With the support of close friends and Shen Yan's unwavering devotion, Su Wan struggles against the ravages of depression. Gradually, she begins to heal through the push and pull of love and redemption.
