Pact of a Hundred Beasts

In the 3,000th year of the Daqian calendar, a beast tide suddenly struck Qinglan City.

Arcane beasts tore at the city gates, and the geniuses of the various sects fled in panic. Then they saw a figure sprinting against the tide of beasts, with nine beastly shadows cutting across the sky behind him!

Impossible! He's only a rogue cultivator! The elder of the Ten Thousand Beasts Pavilion pointed tremblingly at the thunder-marked giant leopard at the front. That is... the bloodline of an ancient Thunder Hou! Meanwhile, Li Mu stroked the little beast he'd just contracted in his arms as the System's prompt rang in his ears: Task 100 complete. Bloodline Tracing unlocked. Your beast companion is, in truth, a guardian divine beast of the ancient Beast Tamer lineage. The bastard abandoned by his family would ultimately uncover the System's ultimate secret: the pinnacle of beast taming in this world was always meant to belong to Mu!
