In ancient times, the spiritual energy of heaven and earth gave birth to a priceless treasure, the Iceglow Spirit Stone, which vanished during the war between gods and demons. Five hundred years later, as Shen Yanxi, the chief disciple of the Qingxuan Divine Sect, undergoes his tribulation, a bolt of heavenly lightning strikes down the divine stone from the Ninth Heaven. It transforms into an infant and falls into his arms.
To protect all living beings, Master Xuanweizi seals the spirit stone’s source within Xihe, condemning her to endure bone-deep pain from the ice’s burning bite every day. Shen Yanxi shields her with his own life force and personally raises the helpless infant. His junior apprentice sister Xihe is exceptionally gifted, but the priceless treasure within her draws the demons’ covetous attention and entangles her in the buried secrets of a war between immortals and demons a thousand years ago.
“Senior Brother, if I’m destined to bring calamity upon the world, will you kill me?” The blood mark between the young woman’s brows burns bright as frost spreads a thousand miles beneath her feet.
Shen Yanxi holds his sword to her throat, but in the flash of lightning, he sees the tears in her eyes. “No.” He shatters the decree to exterminate demons sent down by the Heavenly Dao and pulls the blood-soaked girl tightly into his arms. “I’ll defy fate with you.”
It's beautiful and the plot description is very good.
