An accidental group photo at a convention dragged six ordinary young people through the open doors of the Astral Express, and into the abyss of fate. The instant Wu Minran (Caelus), Liu Qianqian (March 7th), Feng Chanyan (Dan Heng), Gu Lianyi (Sunday), Mu Liankai (Himeko), and Yang Lin (Welt Yang) stepped into the carriage, their bodies and memories were completely reshaped into the Nameless characters they had been playing aboard the Astral Express. The only things that came with them were tiny keepsakes from their former lives: a piggy bank, a camera, a jade pendant, a pair of ballet shoes, a basketball, and a watch.
The train crash-landed on Earth in a perilous DC Universe. There, terrifying monsters from the Ultraman universe, Mogubridge, Gebalga, and Bullton, were tearing through spacetime and spreading fear and chaos. The mastermind was the “Entropy Devourer,” a being that consumed the multiverse. To survive and protect what mattered, the six, now transformed into members of the train crew, had to ally with DC heroes such as Superman and Batman, and even call upon Ultraman Arc and Blazar. In reality-warping mazes, visions that forced them to face their inner wounds, and conversations with Deltandal, the embodiment of Earth’s will, they struggled with the tension between their new identities and their old selves. But the final battle demanded a cruel sacrifice. To seal the Devourer, Gu Lianyi (Sunday) used herself as a conduit for the power of Harmony, paying the price of having her personality and memories completely fused. When the smoke cleared, Earth had become an interstellar hub. The survivors, bearing indelible scars and new bonds, watched the Astral Express head for its next unknown destination. The new “Sunday” had her ear feathers drooping,
Hmm... From what I've read so far, it feels like it's a unit drama movie from Iron + Other World. I can see that the concept is quite interesting. The writing is very good, the description of the scenes is grand and the rhythm is tight, like watching a movie [even the level of combat power serves the picture like a movie] The train set is worn by all members (only one representative object is left to represent the human anchor of the traveler), but the body, habitual abilities, etc. Are all replaced by the train set. (The Star Dome Train itself feels weird, a bit like the system is forcing it to complete a task) I don't know if it's because I'm revising the text that many of the transitions were handled too hastily, and there are many details that haven't been explained clearly. [For example, as soon as the train crew entered DC, there was a big battle and there was no time to see the objects representing the anchor points of humanity in the room. Why did Superman board the train and become an honorary passenger? Why was Batman still wary of the train crew during the previous battle, but after the battle, there was no explanation and the celebration banquet between the two parties started] and so on. But given that this is a new book, there is hope for the future. And this kind of thinking is really rare, and I am very interested in it. So I'll give it five stars first, and I hope the author will change the details to be more vivid!
Can! Can! We think it looks good! I give you five-star praise 😘😘
