The monsters from another world known as Mech Beasts have the traits of Earth’s creatures, but their bodies are covered in mechanical armor. Bloodthirsty and warlike, they launched a massive invasion of the human world fifty years ago.
Among humanity are those known as Mech-Bound, who awaken at eighteen to a Soul Mark corresponding to a Mech Beast, gaining its abilities and armor. They can also obtain Mech Beast cores by killing them and use those cores to make Contract Cards, allowing them to wield the power of more kinds of Mech Beasts. Thus began the long struggle between Mech Beasts and humanity.
Ye Lingyi is attacked by a beast horde during his awakening ceremony and gains the ability to fuse the effects of Contract Cards. From that moment on, he sets out on a path of cultivation to end the conflict and explore the many possibilities of Contract Cards...
