He Xiao was the first human to become infected.

He had a lover named Gu Yuan, an officer in charge of the Otherkind Experimental Building.

They were on opposite sides.

After He Xiao engineered a reunion with his lover, his lover locked him up.

He Xiao stared at the fake bunny ears in Gu Yuan’s hand. “...How did I never realize you were into this?”

Gu Yuan put the bunny ears on his head. “...You look good.”

One day, Gu Yuan received a letter from the Otherkind leader.

The leader ordered Gu Yuan to come alone to the “Seventh Jungle,” an extremely dangerous zone, to meet him.

Ignoring everyone’s objections, Gu Yuan agreed.

Then, at the agreed meeting place, he saw his own lover.

He Xiao pinned Gu Yuan to the ground with a beaming smile. “Darling~ If I weren’t the leader, you’d be dead by now, wouldn’t you?”
