World setting: In this chaotic age, where yin and yang converge and demons run rampant, the young Zhou Xuan unexpectedly awakens an ancient legacy of thunder magic. Wielding the power of the Five Thunders, he strides between the worlds of the living and the dead.
Heavenly Thunder destroys evil, Earth Thunder suppresses malevolent forces, Water Thunder washes away sin, Dragon Thunder subdues demons, and Altar Thunder safeguards the Way. With the Righteous Five Thunders in hand, he is both the last guardian of the human world and a thunderous judge whom even the underworld dares not take lightly.
From strange happenings in the back alleys of modern cities to ancient secrets and thousand-year-old karmic debts; from a lone demon-slaying wanderer to a Daoist Perfected One commanding the Thunder Bureau... Along the way, he sweeps away monsters with thunder and defies fate with a mortal body.
“The day the Five Thunders strike is the day heaven and earth shine clear.”
