[National Fate] [Eerie] [Infinite Flow]
The apocalypse came without warning, dragging the entire world into a brutal game called National Fate. Every day, one person from each country is chosen at random to represent their nation in an eerie version of an anime world and complete a survival mission. Success means the nation rises; failure means its homeland falls into decline. Under the crushing burden, the first two representatives from China died and defected, plunging the country into an unprecedented crisis.
Now the third representative, Lin Qing, has been chosen.
He is neither a battle-hardened warrior nor a hero who carries the world on his shoulders. Lin Qing is simply a self-proclaimed “observer of humanity,” so calm he borders on indifference, and utterly unconcerned with patriotism. While the elite members of China’s strategic command worry over whether he can turn the tide, Lin Qing sees this as an unprecedented “experiment” in human nature and rules.
With no System to rely on and no extraordinary abilities, Lin Qing has only his penetrating insight and powers of logical deduction. When he is dropped into the Eerie-infested world of Highschool of the Dead, he must face not only bloodthirsty zombies and the twisted “Queen of the Dead,” but also conspiracies plotted by players from other countries, as well as the hidden mastermind Takagi Soichiro, an “Observer” seeking to control the Eerie and put human nature to the test.
