Doomsday Rebirth: Stockpiling Supplies and Dangerous Neighbors

After the apocalypse struck in her previous life, Cheng Yue struggled to survive for three months before being killed by her trusted neighbor, Grandma Lin. When she wakes up, she discovers she has been reborn one week before the outbreak and resolves to change her fate. Taking advantage of her rebirth, Cheng Yue sells off her assets to raise money and begins systematically stockpiling supplies, including food, water purification equipment, weapons, and protective gear. She turns her apartment into a secure fortress. Cheng Yue deliberately keeps her distance from Grandma Lin, the “kind-hearted” neighbor from her previous life, but notices that the woman is acting strangely, as if she is also preparing for some kind of crisis. This puts Cheng Yue on her guard. While shopping, Cheng Yue rescues Su Yao, a doctor who is being robbed, and learns that she is an infectious disease specialist. After testing her, Cheng Yue decides to trust Su Yao and invites her to join the survival plan. Strange events begin appearing across the city: the news reports bizarre acts of violence, hospitals admit patients with fevers of unknown origin, and eerie videos circulate on social media. All of it signals that the apocalypse is about to happen again.
