Only a Weakling? The System Wants Me to Fight a Slime One-on-One?

I stayed up all night and died suddenly, only to wake up as a skeleton.

The System announced: “Welcome to the lowest-ranked creature in the Undead Realm: a skeleton soldier with zero combat skills!”

Looking at my bones, which fell apart at the slightest touch, I fell into deep thought.

My beginner’s gift was a rusty bone knife.

Just as I was starting to doubt my life as an undead, the System issued its first quest:

“Host, please fight a slime one-on-one and prove your burning spirit!”

I gazed at the blob of jelly before me and silently raised my bone knife.

“Even a skeleton needs some backbone!”
