“If you had the power to turn back time, would you dare to stand against the whole world for one person?”
Lin Mo, an ordinary high school student, transmigrates to another world where people awaken supernatural abilities after a freak accident. He becomes an undocumented outsider with no identity and no powers. At death’s door, he unexpectedly awakens “Mark of Time,” an ability that lets him reverse life and death within a few seconds, but at the cost of mental torment and the backlash of causality.
In this city, ruled jointly by superpowered individuals and powerful financial clans, where ancient ruins outside time and space coexist with sinister organizations, he meets Su Qingyao, a genius girl as cold as ice. She approaches him carrying out her family’s mission, but after fighting alongside him time and again, she discovers that this stubborn boy would rather destroy himself than use his power to harm the innocent.
When the truth behind his transmigration comes to light, they face an even more brutal choice:
Lin Mo’s ability was no accident. It was the product of a forbidden experiment spanning two worlds;
The organization Su Qingyao serves plans to use his power to **tear apart the barriers between time and space;
And the price of using “Mark of Time” again and again is being gradually devoured by an unknown entity within the torrent of time...
“To save her, you must first learn to kill the person you were.”
“If I had to reverse time ten million times just to see you again, I would gladly become a paradox of time and space.”
It's a bit interesting. The opening scene is so intense, which makes me look forward to the follow-up. It's very satisfying.
