Wind and Clouds in the Rain

With Nana by her side, Mu Yu left the city.

The sunset’s fading light fell on her. It felt like rebirth, yet more like loneliness. Isn’t that just how life is?

Some people are like sunlight shining on rosy clouds.

Turn around, and they slip away with the evening glow, bound for the ends of the earth.

I still remember how the fearless know-nothing I was in my youth.

The scenes came one after another, then receded like the tide.

The more passionate the arrival, the more sorrowful the departure.

The cloud never stores youth. It stores only evil, ensuring that past humiliation and harm are repaid.

Do unto others as they have done unto you. The heavens’ justice runs its course, and retribution never fails.
