Harry Potter: The Scottish Green Rose

A Harry Potter parallel universe. OOC warning: don’t take it too seriously. The author is writing whatever they please.

In 1980, two events shook the wizarding world. The first was the birth of the only person in history to survive the Avada Kedavra curse, The Boy Who Lived. The second was the birth, on the very day the Dark Lord died, of a girl whose innate magical power foretold that she would accomplish great things.

On the train carrying new students to school in 1991, Nydia Eason never expected to run into Harry Potter, The Chosen One. Nor did she expect to run into Draco Malfoy, the person she least wanted to see again.

And so the rumors began on the Hogwarts Express: the pale-blond boy was always picking fights with the black-haired boy in round glasses, while another girl, with dark green hair, played peacemaker.

“Eagles are born to be snakes’ natural enemies, Draco. You’re destined to submit to me.”

“I’m more than willing to fall at your feet.”

The Scottish green rose means, “A love that never grows old, one that time cannot diminish.”

If you miss someone, go see them, with flowers and romance in tow.
