Demon Lord Xuanye × Immortal Venerable Li Lianhua. [Devoted love + calculating hero + pretending to be weak to catch the enemy off guard + two equally powerful leads]
Demon Lord × Immortal Venerable, a forbidden romance that turns the Three Realms upside down!
After waiting ages for a new show, the fourth-generation fans are writing their own. This story is entirely the author’s invention. The characters’ personalities may resemble those in the original series, but please don’t compare the plots. OOC warning!
He is the maddest demon in the Three Realms; he is the coldest immortal in the sects. A fate gone awry, a consuming passion that could burn heaven and earth to ashes.
Xuanye, Demon Lord
Obsessive and unhinged · Overwhelming need for control · The Three Realms’ number-one villain
“I don’t need a reason to kill, but protecting you is only right.”
Daily routine: slaughtering his way through immortal sects / keeping the Immortal Venerable captive in the demon palace / saying the most cowardly love lines in the harshest tone
Li Lianhua, Immortal Venerable
Cool and fragile · The ultimate beautiful but tragic hero · A master of hiding darkness behind a gentle facade
“My sword can slay gods and demons, but it cannot sever my fate with you.”
Daily routine: coughing up blood / turning dark / trying to kill the Demon Lord while taking a heavenly tribulation for him
[High-stakes scenes]
▸ During the war between immortals and demons, Xuanye tears Li Lianhua’s robes in front of everyone, but loses control the moment he sees the old wound over Li Lianhua’s heart.
▸ After Li Lianhua falls into demonhood, he imprisons Xuanye in turn, binding his wrists with divine shackles: “A hundred years ago, you locked away my immortal bones. Today, I’ll lock you up forever.”
▸ As they venture together into the forbidden land of Hongmeng, their memories return. Their first meeting was when the young Demon Lord stole an immortal lotus for a sickly herb boy.
[Memorable lines]
“You want justice from the Heavenly Dao? Fine. I’ll destroy the Heavenly Dao!” Xuanye says as he crushes the Ninth Heaven.
“All my life, I’ve been honorable and upright, except with you... I’ve been utterly despicable.” Li Lianhua says as he poisons him.
Hehe, very touching
