Deep in a forest along the border, a sinister formation conceals deadly traps, leaving the Canglang Special Forces trapped in a nightmarish crisis. Lu Lin, an elite soldier and king of special forces, is drawn in by a mysterious power and encounters Si Xuan, an eighteen-year-old prodigy from a Taoist sect. With a single glance, she sees the bloody calamity hanging over him, then uses her mystical arts to break through a predicament science cannot explain.
From unraveling the armed militants’ wicked traps to foreseeing danger and saving Lu Lin’s life, Si Xuan uses divination, talismans, and formations to repeatedly upend the soldiers’ understanding of the “supernatural.” When she joins the special forces and reshapes their base with feng shui, even the hardened soldiers are won over. As Lu Lin fights alongside her, he gradually falls for her mystery and lively spirit, and his icy heart quietly gives way.
Meanwhile, an international tomb-raiding syndicate covets the Taoist sect’s priceless treasure, the “Nine-Star Compass,” and joins forces with the leader of an armed group who commands dark magic. Si Xuan and Lu Lin team up to protect the national treasure, unaware that an even greater conspiracy is brewing in the shadows. A clash between science and mysticism, and a love story woven from grit and mystery, are about to unfold.
