Where's the Promised Rise of the Rich Playboy? I'm in Debt and Top of the Class from the Start

Shen Zui, the most notorious young wastrel in Jiangnan, spends his days chasing beauties with a wine jar in his arms and cursing books while holding one in his other arm.

One day, his creditors corner him at his gate. In desperation, he blurts out, "Don't panic! I'll go pass the imperial exams and become the top scholar, then pay you back!"

The creditors burst out laughing. "You? If you even pass the county-level exam, I'll write my name backward!"

His father is so angry he nearly faints. "You disgraceful son! You can't even recite the Analects!"

His younger sister rolls her eyes. "Brother, sober up first, then give me back the jade pendant you stole yesterday."

His archrival, Liu Fufeng, walks past, fanning himself. "Brother Shen, your lofty ambitions are beyond our reach!"

Shen Zui slams the table and leaps to his feet. "Want to make a bet? If I become the top scholar, you'll all have to write your names backward!"

Three months later, when the results are announced, the whole city is practicing how to sign their names upside down.
