A Chinese Odyssey: My Brother Is a Pig

This novel has descendants of Tianpeng, good-for-nothing bandits, lighthearted comedy, and absurd humor. The protagonist comes with a “pig persona collapse” twist from the start! Drop in, have a laugh, and be on your way.

Born into a family of bandits, this good-for-nothing young master has the constitution of a jinx and is hated by practically everyone. When his father suddenly dies, he loses his protection and is driven out of the stronghold. Then he unexpectedly learns that he is descended from a celestial god. His ancestors revered Marshal Tianpeng, Zhu Bajie, as their forefather.

He only wanted to happily live as a useless wastrel, but everyone predicted he would become a peerless hero in the post-Journey to the West era. He resists and causes trouble, going through all kinds of ordeals. Though he gives up countless times, the support of countless people helps him grow. In the end, he lives up to everyone's expectations, bravely shoulders his responsibilities, and becomes the hero who protects them all.
