Raising Corpses to Steal the Dao

Several decades ago, a great calamity struck our region.

Black clouds smothered the city as thunder and rain raged. Rainwater mixed with scarlet blood flowed slowly across the ground. A zombie strode forward over a heap of shattered Taoist priests. No one knew its name or where it came from. The Taoists called it the Yin God!

The many sects of Daxia joined forces to fight it. By the time blood had soaked the ground for five li in every direction, the Taoist world of Daxia had been gravely weakened. Then all news of the incident vanished.

No one knew whether the Yin God had been eradicated. The Taoists who took part refused to speak, and the whole affair became a mystery.
