At 9:09 on September 9, 1999, when the protagonist was born, there was a shocking phenomenon of nine dragons pulling the coffin over the hospital. Nine giant dragons dragged the ancient bronze coffin across the sky, causing the heaven and earth to change color. An old man who claims to be a descendant of "Tianji Pavilion" breaks into the delivery room and predicts that the protagonist is a person "born in response to a disaster" and is destined to be involved in a whirlpool concerning the fate of the world. In order to protect his son, the father of the protagonist made an agreement with the old man. The old man left a bronze dragon talisman as a token and agreed that the truth would be revealed eighteen years later. The protagonist has been able to see things invisible to ordinary people since he was a child, and has experienced various strange events. He is regarded as a freak by his peers and lives in loneliness and fear. On the eve of his eighteenth birthday, the protagonist begins to frequently dream about the scene of the coffin being pulled in Kowloon.
