From a cup of tea, she glimpsed the complexity and warmth of people's hearts, and also looked for self-salvation in the fragrance of tea. The story connects family grievances, love entanglements and changes of the times through tea culture, showing the perseverance and hope of ordinary people in turbulent times. Each chapter starts with a kind of tea, lays out the fate of the characters, depicts the psychology in detail, and outlines a picture of the world in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China.
