That Young Man from Miaojiang Threatened Me

By a twist of fate, 30-year-old urbanite Ruan Yuqing was caught in a landslide while traveling in Guizhou and transmigrated to an ancient region inhabited by the Miao people. She was rescued by a mysterious Miao youth named Asa. Handsome as a demon, the mysterious youth had a gloomy, obsessive nature. He showed Yuqing an unsettling level of devotion and possessiveness, binding her to his side with a silver bracelet. Yuqing tried to adapt to Miao life by learning the language and customs, but Asa’s strange behavior and attempts to control her left her confused and secretly stirred her heart. Asa’s older brother, Alu, was hostile toward Yuqing. He warned her to stay away from Asa, hinting that Asa had a hidden secret. Yuqing discovered Asa performing a mysterious ritual late at night. When he caught her spying, Asa revealed supernatural powers and trapped her inside a barrier of silver light.
