"The Shadow Behind the Narrow Gate" - a brotherly epic of tearing and redemption
This novel takes the confrontation between the poor brothers Wang Shi'an and Wang Wangzu as the main line, and weaves a dark web where virtuality and reality intersect through images such as the "Judgment Stick" game account, blood-stained spikes, and steel factory secret files. The author depicts Wang Wangzu's transformation from an Internet-addicted boy to a darkened villain in a cold and stern style. His "suspended death layout" and "bloody remonstrance report" settings not only subvert the traditional villain template, but also reveal the cruel laws of survival at the bottom.
The metaphor of the "narrow door" runs throughout the article - Wang Shi'an chose the narrow door of academics, but his younger brother paved the way with his body, and finally completed the "bloody gift" to his brother in the flames of the toxic waste explosion.
