Tang Shu took a nap and dreamed she was the poor, delicate second female lead in a novel. She was Jiang Youzhen's roommate. Jiang was the wealthy female lead, and her childhood friend, Shen Xiao, was in love with her. At his birthday party, Shen confessed to Tang Shu, but after they got together, his former dream girl became no more than a grain of rice.
After Tang Shu married Shen Xiao, he increasingly thought she was petty and unsophisticated. He believed he had missed his chance to marry someone of equal standing, Jiang Youzhen, and that Tang Shu was really a scheming, fake white lotus hiding behind her poor, delicate persona. When Tang Shu became pregnant, she miscarried after a fight. She was left unable to have children, despised by the Shen family, and forced to break up with Shen Xiao.
After the breakup, Shen Xiao began pursuing Jiang Youzhen. Around the same time, Tang Shu's beloved grandmother, the only family she had, passed away. Tang Shu lost control, kidnapped Jiang Youzhen, and was ultimately shot dead by the police.
When Tang Shu woke up, she thought the dream had felt eerily real. She had never believed in supernatural nonsense, but then she saw a message from Shen Xiao on her phone: “Hey, Tang. My birthday's next Saturday. Thanks for helping me with the competition. Let's grab a meal, and invite Xu and the others too.”
Very well written. Personally, I think the heroine's emotions are too intense and she feels very tired.
It's quite good-looking. The heroine is sober and independent. Although the supporting actress is scheming, she's not vicious. Everyone has their brilliance and darkness.
Two lovely people in love. No matter what the result is, at least the young couple are sweet now 🥰
