The Daoist's Notebook

Since childhood, Lin Mo has been able to see things invisible to ordinary people. He is adopted by Old Lin, a coffin maker and heir to the craft, and later joins a mysterious agency, where he learns talismans, qi detection, and methods of subduing evil spirits to handle supernatural cases among the living. From vengeful spirits demanding lives to malevolent objects awakening, he moves between the worlds of the living and the dead in search of the truth about his origins. Yet as his abilities grow, he gradually discovers that the most terrifying thing is not evil spirits, but the bitterness buried deep in people’s hearts.
