Zhu Wushi, the Marquis of Shen, whose power once eclipsed the court of the Great Ming, suddenly finds his soul transported into the World of Wind and Cloud, where he becomes Qin Shuang, the neglected eldest disciple of the World Society. His frail body has shattered meridians, and though he possesses peerless cunning, he can barely fight. The former master of the imperial court has fallen into the dust of the martial world. But how could he accept such a fate? Under the pretense of recuperating, he maneuvers among the forces beneath Xiongba, obtains rare medicinal herbs from the dispensary, secretly studies profound martial arts in the library, and melds court intrigue with martial techniques. He creates a heaven-defying cultivation art and quietly lays his plans amid the surging undercurrents.
With the northern frontier in crisis, the allied armies of the Wokou Kingdom and Hancai Kingdom, led by the Venerable Xuanming, sweep across the Central Plains with their icy power. Even Bu Jingyun and Nie Feng struggle to hold them back. Zhu Wushi seizes the chance to rise, taking command of the troops as the Mighty Tiger General. He roots out traitors in the court and reforms an army of a million. The longevity arts he studied in the South Sea and his mastery of the Nine Revolutions Mystical Art become his trump cards in turning the tide. On a battlefield buried in snow and ice, he reverses the course of the war single-handedly.
Yet a greater conspiracy is stirring beneath the surface. The ambition of the Ice Palace, hidden for a thousand years, comes to light. The young lord of Wushuang City secretly allies with foreign enemies, seeking to freeze the entire martial world with the Mystic Ice Formation. Zhu Wushi ventures deep into the dragon's lair, searching for a way to break it in Wushuang City's library, where he battles a mysterious woman in a fight to the death. Political intrigue and martial combat intertwine, with deadly danger lurking at every turn. Truth and lies are hard to distinguish, and every moment is fraught with tension.
Watch Zhu Wushi rise from a fallen disciple to dominate both the ever-changing martial world and the imperial court, reach the pinnacle of power as the Marquis of Shen, and write a legendary saga of ambition unlike any before!
It looks good. I'd love to see more. Come on.
