In the future Earth, after a geological disaster known as the "Cataclysm", mankind relied on an energy source called carbon uranium to rebuild civilization. A military empire ruled by oligarchs, the Federation, was beginning endless expansion in the name of "order", and the Republic of Cascadia, located on the coast of North America, was planning to break away from the control of the Federation....
Former federal ace pilot Lane was expelled from the military for refusing to bomb civilians and could only work as an instructor in the flying club. As the war intensified, he would join the fight as a mercenary, but this time, he would no longer fight for the Federation.
