When he woke up, Lin Xiao, an ordinary office worker, was horrified to find himself in a completely unfamiliar Japanese-style room. Reflected in the mirror was the handsome face of Shinichi Kudo, the high school detective from Japan! No System, no missions, just a mind that vaguely remembered the plot of Detective Conan and the body of Shinichi Kudo, gifted with genius-level deductive skills and a talent for attracting deadly trouble.
Time was running out! Lin Xiao (Shinichi) clearly remembered that the fateful day when Gin of the Black Organization would drug him and turn him into a child was fast approaching. Survival came first. He had to start playing the role of Shinichi Kudo immediately: imitating his words and actions, dealing with his close relationship with his childhood friend Ran Mouri, handling his parents, who were overseas but remarkably perceptive, and staying alert to the ever-present shadow of the organization.
