O Moon, Please Take the Stars' Tears Away

[Self-Torture] [Redemption] [True Love] [Tearjerker] [Dual Perspective]

In our past life, you suffered and endured so much for me, yet in the end, I failed to give you the happiness you deserved. Now that I’m reborn, I won’t let you go through hardships you shouldn’t have to bear. I’ll stay far away, silently watching you shine in the lonely darkness, watching you marry Ma Wencai, your equal in status, and raise a family. I won’t be Liang Shanbo again, making you cry for the sake of that ridiculous thing called love. The only purpose of the rest of my life will be to sweep away the thorns in your path and smooth the muddy road. I’ll let you step over my corpse on your way to happiness.

They say there are many roads in this world, and everyone has one of their own. But where does Xingxing’s road lead? To a living hell, or to a heavenly paradise?

Oh, stars, if one day you still can’t see the road ahead, let me become the moon and shine from afar, lighting the way in your heart. My name is Wu Yue, a Liang Shanbo who once loved you.

I offer up these unforgettable memories in tribute to my Zhu Yingtai, my wife, Lin Xingyu.
