Crossing the Frostheart River

[Huo Qi's new life. Just enjoying my own ship, so please don't hate!] Yan Shuyi never imagined that after crying herself unconscious over a tragic novel, she would wake up as its heroine, Shangguan Zi. In the original story, she and the male lead meet and come to understand each other, save one another, and ultimately end up as withered beauty and lonely old age, leaving readers heartbroken. Given another chance, with the script in hand, she vows to save the couple she ships! She thinks she's a clearheaded screenwriter, making plans and helping the leads avoid certain death and turn the tide. Then she suddenly realizes that, somehow, just one look from him can make her heart tremble, and his pain leaves her more breathless than it did in the original. As the plot veers off course and her heart has already fallen, she finally realizes she's become a character in the story.
