What a romantic book, but the title does it no favors. Good grief!
If I could, I'd rename it “63 Wishes” or “Fulfill 63 Wishes with You.”
After winning the lottery, Xiaoqi, whose parents are divorced and who has been drifting alone under a mountain of debt, is lucky enough to meet Nana, the love of his life, by Erhai Lake in Dali. They get to know each other after a few twists and turns, and their story leaves its mark across Dali, Erhai Lake, Lugu Lake, Lijiang, and Xishuangbanna in Yunnan. Later, they fulfill Nana's precious list of 63 wishes together: traveling to South Korea, Japan, Dubai, and elsewhere; watching the northern lights together; taking a luxury cruise to see the ocean; visiting Hong Kong and Macao; and attending a concert by Jay Chou... Then they head to Tanzania to see the animal migration, the Special Zone in the Netherlands, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Malaysia, and more... Their romantic journey is told through all their travels. The story also follows Xiaoqi as he starts a business and eventually becomes a successful owner of a chain of guesthouses and restaurants, with assets worth over a hundred million.
Good book. I read another book by the author and finished it within 24 hours. I feel that the author's books are all very good, but I don't know the title 🤦🤦🤦🤦
