Leaves Fall into the Garden

“Xiaoxiu, let’s go to Kyoto together!”

Ye Xingxiu smiled and nodded.

But the next day, Ye Xingxiu left without saying goodbye.

They met again eight years later. He had just won the Bai Yu Award and become a Best Actor, while she was still a struggling writer who couldn’t even make decisions about her own work.

She thought they had missed their chance for good, but one day she took charge of her own work and became its screenwriter.

“Ye Xingxiu, let’s get married.”

“Okay.”

The salvation they had found in each other eight years ago was also a cage that held them captive for eight years. In the end, the key to breaking free was still each other.

Screenwriter & Actor

Notes:

1. The male lead is an actor who makes a living through his work. There are no scandals about him abusing his status as an idol. If that still bothers you, this probably isn’t for you.

2. This is a fluffy, brainless romance, not a story about a strong female lead. The heroine suffers a bit, so please don’t think too hard while reading, or the author’s low IQ might be exposed.

3. This is my first time writing a novel, and it has many, many, many flaws. My prose isn’t even up to elementary-school level, so please feel free to point out problems in a kind and constructive way! [But no insults, please. The author is sensitive and might be sad for a long time.]

I can’t add any more tags, so I’ll add this one here: Marriage Before Love.
