I Was Trained to Be a Dog

A modern matriarchal society. Women are the dominant force, holding most of the political, economic, and military power. They generally receive higher education and serve as the pillars and decision-makers of their families. Men have lower social status. They are expected to be gentle, handsome, and skilled at something, such as the arts, housework, or serving others. Most do auxiliary or service work, or become househusbands dependent on women. Society takes it for granted that women have greater authority over men.
