Airline Captain: The System Helps Me Turn the Tide Against the Wind

“Control tower announcement: Flight CA1235 is delayed by three hours because trainee captain Lin Chuan misjudged the weather. His grounding takes effect tomorrow.” I clutched the crumpled disciplinary notice and stared at the cockpit’s cold control yoke. My father had held it just like this before an accident left him disabled.

“Ding! Civil Aviation Captain Sign-in System activated. Cockpit sign-in successful for today. Flight skill points +5. Emergency simulation attempts ×1.”

When the mechanical voice rang in my ear, I looked at the darkening sky outside and suddenly smiled.

Grounded?

Not a chance.

Once I use the System to max out my piloting skills, master thunderstorm landings through virtual training, and use route data to cut fuel consumption to a minimum...

My name will be engraved in the cockpit of Huaxia Airlines.
