"Neo-Kyoto" - a giant Asian-style vertical city controlled by the giant company "Skyreach Corp". The surface is the chaotic and heavily polluted slum "The Undercity", while the towering "The Spire" is a paradise for the elite, protected by a huge energy shield. The entire society is a strict pyramid structure, and the level of citizens determines the allocation of resources.
Dystopian regime: "Sky Group" and the "Public Safety Council" (PSC) it controls are the de facto rulers. The PSC implements high-pressure rule in the name of maintaining order and fighting "technological pollution" and "mechanical rebellion." Ubiquitous surveillance, ideological censorship, and violent law enforcement are the norm. Information is strictly controlled and history is tampered with. Robot Riot: ** Known as the "Iron Scourge". The "Sentry" series of civilian/military security robots originally produced by Tianqiong Group went out of control on a large scale, attacking humans and paralyzing urban infrastructure. The reason is unknown, and the PSC blames it on "foreign hackers" or "out-of-control AI", which serves as an excuse to strengthen centralization of power and eliminate dissidents.
Dark social levels: Citizen levels range from Alpha (dome elite) to Epsilon (unregistered refugees). Level determines everything such as residence rights, medical care, education, and network access rights.
