It is based on the Chinese folk in modern times (from about the 1980s onwards, the timeline can be adjusted as needed to add a sense of the times and restrictions), integrating bizarre folklore, taboos, witchcraft, ghost beliefs and unsolved mysteries from all over the world. It emphasizes the blurred boundary between "if you believe it, there is it, if you don't believe it, there is nothing" and "objective existence", creating a mysterious and strange atmosphere.
