Su Wan, a modern astronomy graduate student, unexpectedly transmigrates into the body of a concubine-born daughter of the Jingyuan Earl's household. Faced with the principal wife's cruelty and bitter family rivalries, she draws on both modern astronomy and ancient star lore to make a name for herself in the household's power struggles. One stormy night, she rescues Shen Yan, a mysterious man being hunted down, and gets entangled in the massacre of the Duke of Dingguo's household and the astonishing plot behind Prince Qing's rebellion. With the "Secret Star Charts" as their guide, the two navigate everything from family feuds to court intrigue, solve celestial mysteries, and expose the ambitions of powerful ministers. In the end, they rewrite the fate of their country as the heavens undergo a strange transformation.
