Reborn, I Spoiled the Yandere Emperor Rotten

In the first year of Yongchang, Shen Qingyu was sent to the Cold Palace as the daughter of a disgraced official. Three years later, she drowned in a dry well in the imperial garden, and her body went unburied for three days. Reborn on the day of the selection at fifteen, she dug her fingernails into her fingertips until they bled. Being "virtuous, kind, gentle, and compliant" after mistaking poison for medicine in her past life was not for her!

[By day]

She is the lowly illegitimate daughter of the Grand Tutor's household, lowering her eyes whenever she meets anyone. Even newly favored noblewomen in the palace dare to trample on her. But deep into the night, Shen Qingyu holds a poisoned silver needle and severs the matron's tendons. "Her Majesty wants to be empress, not cannon fodder."

[By night]

Under the pretense of tending to the emperor, she makes him drink an anti-pregnancy decoction. While changing clothes, she "accidentally" knocks over a candle stand and burns down half of Weiyang Palace. When the mother of the Third Prince faints before the emperor for the fourth time, Shen Qingyu gently strokes her rounded belly. "Your Majesty, the imperial physician says my pregnancy is unstable..."

[High-stakes warning]

Xiao Yanchen always props up an embroidered pillow while reviewing memorials, because the empress said, "Kneeling too long hurts your knees."

The Consort Shu who caused her miscarriage in her previous life is now punished by being sent to the imperial kitchen to make "steamed carp" every day (the fish bones have to be picked out three times).

On a stormy night, Shen Qingyu storms into the Hall of Mental Cultivation clutching a ledger. "I want a divorce, Your Majesty!" The man behind the imperial desk pulls open his dark robe, revealing half a crescent-shaped bruise on his collarbone.

(An extra scene at the end)

"Your Majesty, did you secretly hide my gold hairpin again?" Shen Qingyu approaches in pearl slippers. The scent of dragon's-breath incense mingles with the jasmine in her hair. "You promised to go release river lanterns with me tonight." The emperor's ears turn red as he pushes over half a box of kingfisher-feather hairpins. "If the empress wants the stars, I have to find a way to pluck them down."
