Yu Xingchen, an assistant professor in the history department, is a complainer who firmly believes in "science first". One day he inherited his aunt's antique shop and accidentally activated the spirit of "The Fool" in a pair of mysterious tarot cards. From then on, he was forced to be involved in an absurd war related to the survival of the world.
His partner is **Bai Tian**, who calls himself the "Guardian" - a silver-haired handsome man with explosive strength but zero common sense, and his memory is as messed up as a ball of yarn scratched by a cat. While avoiding the pursuit of the mysterious organization "The Hanged Man", the two recovered the out-of-control Tarot card spirits, only to discover that each card awakening would trigger outrageous "realistic bugs":
