Reborn as the King of Hell’s Heir, with 30,000 in Debt from the Start

After his soul unexpectedly crosses into the underworld, Su Tang becomes the new King of Hell? He hasn’t even had time to celebrate taking charge of the underworld when Ox-Head and Horse-Face hit him with the accounts. The previous King of Hell absconded with three trillion underworld coins in public funds and mortgaged the Eighteen Levels of Hell to a factory that makes Meng Po Soup!

The Bridge of Helplessness has collapsed and needs repairs, the Book of Life and Death is riddled with errors, and even Ox-Head and Horse-Face have gone on strike over unpaid wages. Standing in the gloomy Hall of Hell, Su Tang grips the ancestral Judge’s Brush and decides to set out on a money-making venture in the underworld: livestreaming Meng Po making soup and receiving rocket gifts, developing underworld-themed murder mystery games, and even rebranding Black and White Impermanence as a ghost-world boy band…

But as the debts are gradually paid off, a mysterious seal deep within the underworld begins to loosen. Ancient secrets that should have remained buried turn out to be closely connected to the mystery of Su Tang’s transmigration. As a crisis threatening all three realms draws near, can this debt-ridden new King of Hell preserve the balance between the worlds of yin and yang?
