Get Down! He Fell to His Knees on the Washboard with a Thud

[Sweet romance, comedic antics, mutually faithful, a little angst]

Lu Jinyan broke up with his girlfriend of five years.

The night they split, he got completely drunk. A little lamb stumbled into his arms. She had clear eyes and an innocent personality. He… was drunk, and so… he couldn’t hold back and… slept with her!

As the old saying goes, one day as husband and wife means a hundred days of affection; a hundred days as husband and wife means, well, well, well. Su Mianmian was like a glass of iced lemonade on a summer day: she got him hooked, and all he wanted was to “well, well, well” every night.

After they were done “well, well, well”-ing, he regretted it. This little troublemaker was far too much to handle.

She was there breaking up gang fights, using a slingshot to take on thugs, rushing into the police station to steal a dog, and even giving the staff at a haunted house concussions.

Lu Jinyan rubbed his forehead. Ever since he got together with her, the person he had the strongest “connections” with was the police chief.

Night after night, he wondered how he’d failed to hold back and “somehow” ended up sleeping with her.

When Su Mianmian returned from vacation and opened the front door, she was dumbfounded. The house was a complete mess. Her son, daughter, and husband all turned to look at her. Flames seemed to burst from her head as she shouted, “Down on your knees!”

The kids and the man dropped to their knees with a thump. Even the youngest boy sprawled on the floor, looking up at Su Mianmian in an attempt to awaken her maternal instincts.

Smiling, Su Mianmian cupped her husband’s face. “Honey~ What happened here?”

Lu Jinyan glanced at the kids. “Whatever you say~”
