Plants Vs. Zombies: The Hero’s Journey in Another World

Long Xiao, a modern college student, is a frivolous, carefree young man with a passion for Plants vs. Zombies. By chance, while playing a special mod of the game, he is chosen by the mysterious Crazy Dave and unexpectedly transmigrates to another world, the continent of Elvira, where he takes over the body of a warrior who shares his name.

This continent is full of strange encounters and dangers, where bizarre technology and magic coexist, and tensions simmer beneath the surface of wars between the Guardians and the Undead, and between the Federation and the Empire. Long Xiao gains a special "Cart Guardian Spirit" and receives a one-of-a-kind gift from Dave: a personal training space where he can endlessly refine his abilities.

"You are someone who can change this world." Those were the words Crazy Dave left him with.

Long Xiao initially thought this was nothing more than a ridiculous adventure game, until the convictions forged in the flames of war and the cries amid the bloodshed awakened his sense of responsibility. He began to believe that perhaps he really could use this power to shatter the shackles of fate and reshape the world into something new.
