"Irises in Gunsmoke" tells the story of Amir's family encountering misfortune in the context of the war, and his daughter Zahra disappearing. During the search for the girl, he met Lin Yue, a doctor from China's Médecins Sans Frontières. The two used the coding system of a mechanical engineer and the first aid intuition of a field doctor to gradually discover the shady story of a transnational arms dealer. They realized that the path to finding a girl was closely linked to exposing the crimes of the arms dealer, which contained the core of the story of pursuing the truth, persevering in the heart, and redemption during the war.
