A Journey on the Buddha's Body

Sorry, this is a wild mix of couples! Don't overthink it. Just enjoy the ride!

Jin Chanzi × Xiao Qing

Nezha × Ao Bing

Yang Jian × Chang'e (the transmigrated version)

Xiaotian Dog × Jade Rabbit Spirit

I haven't decided on Yang Chan's pairing yet!

Here's the proper synopsis:

What if Xiao Qing from Legend of the White Snake transmigrated into Journey to the West?

A cool, aloof Buddhist monk from Mount Ling × a mischievous, naive snake demon: a thousand-year collision between Buddhist devotion and demonic nature.

“Jin Chanzi, your heart is unsettled.”

At Mount Ling, Jin Chanzi brought home a little green snake.

She was innocent and naive, yet dared to tug on his prayer beads;

he was strict in his observance of the precepts, yet let her run wild in the human world.

She licked a candied hawthorn, then touched her sugar-coated fingertip to his lips.

The prayer beads turned scorching hot. His Buddhist powers were boundless, yet couldn't suppress that fleeting flutter in his heart.

“The ten-day wager has sealed your romantic tribulation.”

When the man-eating snake demon revealed her blood-soaked heartbreak,

when a demon-subduing pestle pierced a vengeful soul but couldn't sever the bonds of the heart,

only then did he understand:

The hardest trial was never nine lifetimes of reincarnation, but the instant his heart stirred.

◆ Cold, celibate Buddhist monk × innocent, mischievous snake demon

◆ “She disrupts his cultivation; he guides her to become an immortal.”

◆ Their paths should never cross, yet he insists on defying fate!
